Preetha Anandh - Guru and Nattuvangam

Guru Smt. Preetha Anandh’s journey in Bharatanatyam reflects deep dedication, refined artistry, and lifelong devotion. Trained under Kalaimamani Smt. Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala in the Pandanallur style and later under Sri Renjith Babu of the Kalakshetra tradition, she has built a strong foundation in both classical schools.

As the founder of KalaAlaya School of Dance since 2009, she has inspired and nurtured countless students through her innovative choreography and passionate teaching. With over three decades of experience, she continues to shape the next generation of dancers with grace and commitment

Veena Girish - Vocals

Veena Girish is a classically trained Carnatic vocalist who began her musical education in Bangalore under Smt. Nagavalli Nagaraj and later the late Vid. Nagarajan. She currently continues her training under Vid. Ganesh Rajagopalan.

Since relocating to Seattle in 2014, Veena has been actively performing across various platforms in the Pacific Northwest. She has been serving as a vocalist for Bharatanatyam dance dramas and Arangetrams since 2016, contributing significantly to the region's Indian classical music community.

Jagadeeswaran Jayaprakash - Mridangam

Jagadeeswaran Jayaprakash has played a pivotal role in the Seattle mridangam scene, training over 75 students since 2009 and building a vibrant percussion community. His students have performed widely in the U.S. and India.

Trained by renowned gurus Smt Sukkanya Ramgopal, Sr B Ganapathyraman and Dr. Trichy Sankaran, he continues to shape the region’s music culture through performances, collaborations, and teaching. Honored with the title “Laya Shiromani” in 2023, he also serves on the board of the Chamber of Indian Performing Arts and leads the Indian Percussive Arts Center.

Deepa Sastry - Violin

Deepa Sastry is a Carnatic violinist and vocalist from Bangalore who began her training under her mother, Vidushi Smt. Rama Krishnamurthy, and her aunt, Vidushi Smt. Savithri Srinivas. With over three decades of performances across India and the U.S., she has been recognized with honors such as the “Yuva Prathibhe” award from Ananya Sangeetha Sabha and “Best Junior Violinist” from the Indian Fine Arts Society, Chennai.

Based in Frisco, she runs the Deepam School of Indian Music and Arts, where she trains students in both violin and vocal.

Anirudh Bharadwaj- Flute

Anirudh Bharadwaj is a Carnatic floutist based in California. He is a student of Vidwan Delhi Sunderrajan and began his initial training under Smt. Akhila Krishnan and Sri P.N. Krishnan. Anirudh has also received training in Hindustani classical music from renowned flute maestro Pt. Kailash Sharma of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi.

Residing in the Bay Area-California, he passionately teaches Carnatic flute and vocal music to students across the U.S., Europe, and India
